You have to own it

LinkedIn: If our AI gets it wrong, that’s your problem
Artificial intelligence still no substitute for the real thing

At first I thought maybe there’s a discussion about who really is responsible for GenAI output? The ones who trained and tuned it? Who administer it? The person writing the prompt for the output? Is this an expansion of the ‘shared responsibility’ model?

Then I thought ‘Nah, you’re over complicating things’.

If you’re the one who’s copy/pasting output and hitting publish or send without checking?

That’s all on you boo. Don’t try and share the blame if it all goes wrong.
